The Adventures of Ben Gunn

When Jim Hawkins first saw Ben Gunn on Treasure Island he could not tell whether he was a bear, a man or a monkey. Who was he and how did he come to be all alone on that remote island? This book tells of the strange and inescapable events which turned the young boy from Devon first into a pirate and then into a dreadful dark, shaggy, stooping creature.
